My Three Wishes for a Better Tomorrow!

Another tough assignment to answer. This week's topic, if I had three wishes.
The world around us is changing and not necessarily in a good way. You find people who will do anything to reach those goals without thinking of the consequences that got them to that point of not caring about people they might hurt reaching that goal.
What once was the land of opportunity is now the land of uncertainty. Who would ever think that if you worked hard like we were all told to do, and put into the system that you would have to worry about the possibility of not having social security when you retire or even a steady job you can count on.
What ever happened to the days when an employer looked out for the interests of his or her employee and good work was rewarded with a bonus or raise!
What ever happened to the employee who was loyal to an employer and worked hard to be part of the bigger picture to make that company successful!
Now it seems that it is easier to point a finger at someone rather than own up to a mistake that is made and it seems it is every man or woman for him or herself and who cares who they hurt if it gets them off the hook!
When those who did the right thing see others who take short cuts and get the same results or even wind up in a better situation is not the type of lesson I want to pass on to my grandchildren. Who would ever think that if you stopped paying a mortgage that the bank would offer you a way to help you out when you are struggling and yet if someone is doing everything in their power to pay their bills they are told or forced to jump through hoops to get the support they need to continue to go in that direction.
When was it acceptable to lend out money without being accountable for what that money was borrowed for in the first place.
If a small business is in trouble, why do they lose everything that they have worked hard for and their dreams crushed because they can't get the financial backing they need and then a large company can!
That is why I believe that the most valuable lesson that can be learned is that we have to get back to basics and do the right thing and if you don't, be penalized for your actions!
1: Power and Money should not be a free pass to get out of a situation that is illegal!
2: Charity begins at home and we should concentrate on fixing our own financial situation before we are so eager to get involved in other nations problems.
3: The most important thing is that Family should come first!

Bravo! Terrific in the overall scheme of the times. Love your wishes especially the number 2. Of course the number 3 wish goes without say. Well written and such good questions raised. Whatever happened . . . question now is how to solve??? Enjoyed reading your article.Thank you so much for taking the time to read my article and to comment on it. I am I speak for a lot of people who are so frustrated with the current situation and it is going to take something short of a miracle to get us out of the mess we have gotten ourselves into. I always say, that the future is with the next generation and let's hope they can straighten things out!
