Being Fabulous is a State of Mind!

I have to admit when a new assignment is given, they can be most challenging and I of course being the type of person who never walks away from a challenge try my best to complete each assignment with honesty and hope that my articles, depending on the subject will help others, especially if my articles are health related.

I think we all have had our share of life experiences, some more challenging than others, but it is how we approach each challenge that makes us who we are and how it defines us!

My way of coping is trying to stay positive emotionally and keeping my body strong physically to get me through the rough days.  If that makes me fabulous, so be it.  I was determined when I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia to get as much information as I could find, when prescription medication was not an option because of my drug sensitivity and intolerance, I had to once again, find an approach to get my life back and not allow this condition to win!

I make it a point to exercise every other day for an hour at our local fitness center to build muscles and by exercising releasing the stress of pain that is a constant reminder of my medical condition.

I also watch my diet carefully and avoid any artificial products that have been associated with making my symptoms worse and the most important aspect of my therapy is staying positive no matter how I feel but telling myself that hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

I surround myself with loving family and friends and offer support to those who are struggling with chronic pain and let them know they are not alone.
